Lynn Platt Hagan

Lynn Platt Hagan is the owner of Savannah, Georgia based Coastal Collection, her personal line of handmade jewelry featuring original designs with coastal flair. Lynn began creating jewelry for herself ten years when she felt unable to find suitable pieces to buy ready-made. Inspired early on by a brief encounter with a successful local artist, Ann Osteen, Lynn would never forget her encouraging words to “Never underestimate yourself.”  

Lynn uses her art as a way to de-stress. She notes that oftentimes her ideas come after “taking a deep breath, closing my eyes, and relaxing.” Lynn says, “Art is important in my life because it provides a way to express myself. I get so much satisfaction from people who tell me how much they enjoy wearing my designs.”
